We had contacted this company paid a deposit in advance to seek gas certification for a shop, they sent a domestic gas engineer to the shop.

Call recordings have been verified and although we specifically requested an engineer for a shop, they have refused to now refund the deposit.

Called multiple times, no call back made, only emails answered and they do not wish to settle this amicably.

This shows money is everything, so please AVOID such a company!!!

Aza&sons service very crook company i called them to service my boiler as normal service and the engineer turned up check the boiler and said thats an old boiler start saving money to replace this boiler! And he set it up to brak the boiler he left the temperature to maximum lucky i found out 2 hours later and turned down. Called the engineer to explain why did he. Instead saying he forgot it and to apologise he started to explain and said that’s normal. 3 days later my boiler breaks down. They do set it so they can install new once and rip you off! Avoid avoid this company

A&E Plumbing & Gas were first class. Great communication throughout what turned out to be a very difficult job. When tiles cracked and damp plasterboard was found, Neil rang me and said he would get it all sorted with his builder and tiler. End result was excellent, polite and reliable throughout, really impressed.

Leo and Markeli are true professionals and executed the job to the highest standard.

It was a difficult ask as I wanted all my heating pipes to be re-installed on the walls and ceiling after having endless nightmares with the old system being buried under hard wood floorboard. I also wanted the new installation to look nice.

Couldn’t have asked for more, they pulled off a work of art.

Best of all, no more leaks, and the flat is warmer than it’s ever been.

I honestly was not impressed. I called him out to take a look at a few small things and get a quote for a larger piece of work. I was charged quite a lot for him to come out but was told the small things would be covered. The first thing I needed fixing was a leaky faucet. After literally just hitting it with a wrench for a bit (leaving some marks), he said “it won’t come off”. He eventually got it off and fixed it after I inferred this is literally what I hired him to do. The second task was to look at the water pressure in the shower. He told me it needed a new mixer bar which he could knock out in 30 min after a brief glance. Despite it being easy and small (which should have been covered by the fee I paid to get him to my house), he told me 250 for it. I told him I wouldn’t pay that much. When I did my own investigation, the mixer bar wasn’t the problem at all, so I’m glad I didn’t throw away the money. All in all I paid for what I thought was subpar service and a subpar experience.

I had a great experience with City Plumbers. Rob and Pete did a fantastic job fixing my shower. They were professional, friendly, efficient and clearly know their stuff. It was all sorted quickly and with no hassle and with a couple of laughs! A special mention also goes to Jad, who has been absolutely wonderful at coordinating everything and completing other issues in the flat (fixing the sink). Saleh said he was going to come and then the next day cancelled last minute when I am already on my way to the property. Once rescheduled, he came. Charged me for diagnosing the issue but not actually resolving it. Found it to be quite expensive as now I’ve had to pay someone else to fix it. The person who fixed it has done so in a simple manner which was much less intrusive than what I was told. Saleh wanted to take out the toilet when I told him the day before this is not an option. This plumber did it without removing my toilet. He took the bath panel out and didn’t put it back properly. As a result I now have another job on my head as this has caused the bath panel to expand. I would not recommend. As a landlord, you want someone who helps not gives you more problems.

The service was very good, the plumber diagnosed and fixed the issue for our underfloor heating in a timely manner. The only thing I am not very happy about is after the plumber used our washroom, he left a strong and strange smell in the bathroom that lingers on despite cleaning and wiping. I hope the smell does go away in a few days but it is bothering when it doesn’t go away despite having very good ventilation in the flat so not sure what he did there.

What can I say about Mike? He has done quite a lot of work in my apartment block and when the time came to ask him to do a pretty urgent job he was prompt courteous and very efficient. Started off with great communication and experience with Mike able to meet a urgent call out regarding a leaking issue on a Sunday. He was very direct and informative on the issue and what it required to fix. He Informed me that he would send me a report and price up for the job within a week. After a week had gone by I reminded that I would need a follow up of the report. I also had paid 75£ and he stated via voice note stating he was busy and that it would be sent that same evening. I still did not recieve report. I let a few days pass and prom pted once more and he would look at my messages with late replies and forbe me off to check my spam. There was no evidence of report in my emails. I made a telephone call complaint re his lack of communication he hung up my call stating he was with his family when he could have been honest with me instead of pretending that he had sent the report. I eventually recieved my report 2 weeks later after having to make a verbal and written complaint via whatsapp. I was initially excited for this plumber to carry out my works but based on his threats via messaging, unreliability, inconsistency and poor communication I would not waste my time or money again.

Based on Mike’s reply to my complaint. You can tell he’s unprofessional, dishonest and immature. He abused my line multiple times once I alerted that I will update his reviews due to poor handling of communication that’s when he started to threat and abuse my line.

Secondly, due to the urgency of work that needed to be carried out he Informed he would get a quote back which he didn’t. I have had plumbing work done prior his call out based on his expertise this needed to be resolved which unfortunately he was unable to fulfil.

My sink was not draining any water, I tried my best to fix it myself but nothing worked so I decided to call Thames plumbing. They arrived to my house extremely quickly and their customer service through the phone and in person was amazing. Once they left my sink was perfect condition, I would definitely recommend.

Avoid at all costs – dishonest and unprofessional

One of the worst experiences I’ve had with any service provider. I contacted Thames Plumbing to fix a non-working Insinkerator. I was told there would be a 50 call-out fee, and any extra charges would be quoted after inspection.

The plumber arrived, barely spent 15 minutes on the job, and told me the issue was a blocked drain. He charged 330 to vacuum it—without even testing if the Insinkerator worked. When prompted, he tested it and surprise—it still didn’t work. He then guessed the motor was gone, even though it had been working just hours earlier.

To make matters worse, the drainage issue returned within hours. When I called back, they told me I’d have to pay another 180 to fix the same unresolved problem.

This company is unprofessional, lacks basic expertise, and seems to rely on misleading customers into paying for work that isn’t done properly. They refused to offer any resolution or refund, even when the problem remained exactly as it was.

Absolutely appalling service. Avoid them if you value your time, money, or sanity.
