Adam Sobecki

I’ve been really enjoying my singing lessons! Sam always chooses exercises that are well-suited to my voice and what I need to work on. It’s great how flexible and supportive the sessions are — he can play both the piano and the guitar to accompany any song I want to sing, which makes learning even more fun and personal. Highly recommended!

Grace Piro Delia

I have absolutely LOVED working with Malin at City Vocal Coach. As a novice singer, I’ve appreciated her thoughtful, informative, and playful approach to my lessons. She also has a gorgeous voice herself. I’ve been really happy with my experience at this studio and would highly recommend for beginners and seasoned artists alike!

D L

I joined the group singing course last year and loved it! It was a wonderful group of people to sing with and Natalie was great at bringing out the best in us individually and as a group.

I have also been taking 1:1 lessons with Natalie. She has really helped me to develop my confidence which is a massive thing for me as well learning lots of techniques to improve my voice. People who know my voice well have commented on how much I’ve changed and improved!

I look forward to more singing sessions with Natalie and City Vocal coach!

Thank you for all the wonderful lessons so far!

I highly recommend Natalie and City Vocal coach.

They are a scam debited my account without authorization I don’t even take classes. Don’t sign up they are A SCAM!!!

Set The record

I have to give 1 star to the London Piano Institute as this correctly reflects my experience with them, unfortunately. I found that there was a lack of transparency, particularly regarding the payment of the lessons, which to me looked a lack of professionalism and a total absence of consideration for the current COVID-19 situation. I think that empathy and humanity are as important as teaching skills and I am afraid that, in my experience, they fail on the former and have lost a student. I am afraid that l will also suggest people to stay away, if asked about my experience.

Julian Morant

I am enjoying my weekly piano lessons with Arina. The lessons are challenging which is good and in particular my technique has considerably improved. I haven’t had lessons for many years and it is clear that I had slipped into some bad habits. My lessons have helped me to improve my technique.

The one negative is the location. My lessons take place at Fleet Street in a former strong room with no natural light and not very nice surroundings. I’ve also had a couple of lessons at Farringdon which took place in a very small room. The venues don’t match what is presented on the website- spacious rooms with grand pianos. I don’t feel the venues are good enough for the standard of teaching and learning that is expected.

Overall, at this current time, I find the lessons rewarding and I am looking to continue with them.

I wanted to understand watercolors better. A good beginning ground, what to use, how to use, what to avoid, try different techniques… but nothing happened. It was huge disappointment for money I paid. It was like lessons for five years old children. Let’s play and be nice. Find your brush and paint and pain what you like. Three days. Terrible. Waste of money and time if you have ever tried Watercolors. Tutor was sweet but definitely without proper experience in education of adults. Very silent. Not helpful. I didn’t pay for killing time but for new knowledge or skill. Not happening. Sad.

Christopher Hodges

Poor student experience me and partner did the ballroom beginner class, where we had 4 different teachers over a 8 week period. Learnt only two dances, when should have 6. Class size was too big, with the ration of leaders to followers not adequately managed. Really poor student experience.

Mister John

Went on the advanced acting and was really looking forward to the course. However, advanced acting this was not. The focus was mainly on improvisation and games, almost an hour of  the class was taken up with improv and games. Not very challenging at all, I was expecting more focus on text in plays and character development. The last two weeks we where informed by the tutor that we would focus on monologues. Only one week was spent on monologues as the tutor pulled out of the last class to be replaced by someone else. Overall, very disappointed with this course and will not be attending another course with City Academy.

I have truly enjoyed my classes so far with Emmi, I love how I can be very calm with her and her aura is great as well. She is an amazing singer herself and knows exactly what I’m doing wrong and right. I truly think my singing has also improved a lot as well. I hope to continue these classes and be at my best ability and it’ll be all thanks to her

Charlotte W

Really enjoying singing with Lucia. She is very positive and friendly and I feel my confidence has improved a lot since starting lessons with her.

Ayan N-lu

I’m am genuinely and thoroughly enjoying all my lessons with Emmi. I’ve improved significantly over this short, albeit fruitful time period and my confidence in my singing has increased drastically.

As a creative, it’s hard for me to follow dry and universally applicable instructions and that’s been my main issue with online lessons before coming in.

Emmi has a fantastic ability to vividly, creatively and professionally explain exactly what the issue is and how to tackle it. Apart from her professionalism, she’s been an absolute gem to work with in terms of how she chooses to present herself and how friendly and welcoming our interactions have been. It’s been a wonderful experience!

It feels like a huge scam. I had a few lessons a while ago and enjoyed it, and pre paid for a block of 10 lessons, and due to some personal issues, wasn’t able to do the lessons straight away. By the time I got round to it, a few months after, I was told that all of my lessons had expired – I hadn’t even used one. There was no reminder and it was literally some text at the bottom of the email. There’s no effort to retain customers because I would have happily continued lessons after, and the customer service is honestly shockingly terrible. They would take a really long time to respond and would need to be chased up for every query. I wouldn’t really recommend this place. The tutor was nice though.

Damien Ricaud

Awful experience, last year I was forced to take a break due to family events and my credits expired on the app, lost a lot of money with no replies from Musecool/Lycaeum to my emails and calls and no regards for my personal circumstances.

Therefore echoing all the reviews about bad faith behavior when it comes to paid credits on the app…

Very responsive when it comes to paying, while no replies to my emails and calls when it comes to getting my credits back (ÂŁ112), yes I understand my balance has been set to ÂŁ0 because they were unused for months and I’m sure it’s written somewhere in terms&conditions, however no heads up email was sent to me ahead of expiration and moreover no consideration of my personal circumstances.

Olha Balandiukh

MuseCool (formerly Lycaeum) is a great school with a supportive community. Our tutor community is fantastic, with everyone being friendly, encouraging, and nice. I’m aware of the school’s efforts to provide a quality education. The AI-powered app allows you to track progress and access homework, which is also available via email. The app also handles payments. The school offers convenient lesson bundles, such as 4-lesson and 10-lesson packages, with flexible durations (30-60+ mins) and scheduling (weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly). Themed biannual concerts are held in summer and winter, for example, we’ve had concerts based on superhero movies/cartoons and a marine theme. These concerts are professionally photographed, providing families with wonderful memories, and are also streamed online. Adult performance slots are available too. I highly recommend this school for both students and tutors.

Music Tree

Sebastien Proffit

Judging by the reviews, I can only hope that we were just unlucky, and that no other children or parents will ever have to go through what we did with Music Tree.

From my experience, they are not capable of handling young children (3–4 years old) on their own. It reached a point where, after blaming the children’s behavior and the parents’ supposed poor parenting, they admitted to me that the environment was not safe for the kids. Right after admitting this — and even demonstrating how a child could jump down the stairs or off a table — the teacher left the children alone in the room for several minutes without asking them to stay seated or still while she was away. She later backtracked and claimed it was actually a very safe environment, saying that otherwise there would have been accidents in the past five years.

Delphine MARSAN

We’ve started a few months ago with Music Tree and I’ve been quite impressed by the level of care and genuine interest in the children’s wellbeing.

We’ve had good interaction with one of our children’s teacher who noticed a lack of focus and helped us fix the situation.

We have regular newsletter from the Music Tree school about education, children wellbeing and how to make the most of the music classes.

So far, a very good experience!

Gabriel & Alix

Our children have attended music tree for more than 2 years. Although the method is unconventional, I believe the courses have improved their love of music and given them a fun afterschool activity with friends.

My daughter started drumming with Ivan last year, when she was just 4! All I can say is WOW! He has such patience with her. She loves attending her weekly sessions. They both work so well together! He understands her, and knows how to keep her engaged and she just gets him! Her confidence has grown! She performed at the LSM summer concert this year, after previously insisting she would not do take part until she is 8!

Rachel A

My Daughter has been attending London School Of Music for some time now and has been having singing lessons with the amazing Glenda for nearly a year. My Daughter looks forward to her lessons each week. Glenda ensures the lessons are planned and seeks new challenges for her to learn and sing covering a range of genres. Glenda supports my daughter with her own song choices and I have seen my daughter grow in confidence and vocally. I would highly recommend Glenda she is top notch!

Inès Hamdani

This school is absolutely fantastic. I was looking for a Drum teacher as I had a very long break and wanted to improve my technique and resume playing (I started as a kid but couldn’t keep playing as I used to while studying at Uni). I am currently studying weekly with Antonio who is genuinely great. The lessons are tailor-made, fun and varied. I am provided with materials to improve at home between sessions (despite not having a kit) and I can definitely tell I’m learning from his professional experience.

The staff of the school is also wonderful. I needed to reschedule lessons quite a lot lately and they were super reactive and helpful. Highly recommend !!!

A wonderful experience getting to know the world of music making! Looking forward to doing more at the Studio.

Olena Pyshna

I love this school! I’m learning drums here and really enjoy my lessons, the quality of teaching is excellent. On top of that the interior is absolutely amazing. It’s a pleasure to spend time in such a beautiful space, you not only learn but also get real aesthetic enjoyment from being here.

Dimka L

Hi everyone! I’ve been with Thousand Seasons Studio for about a year now, and I can confidently say they are true professionals in their field. They offer many opportunities in the music industry. If you’re looking for a place to pursue your passion, I highly recommend joining them.

I’ve had the pleasure of learning guitar under Christopher’s guidance, and I can honestly say he is a great teacher. He tailors each lesson to my individual needs and learning pace, which has helped me improve significantly in a short amount of time. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skill, you’ll definitely get the guidance to help you reach your goals.

Luke Cox

Glenn is incredible, crafts really beneficial lessons and is very engaging the whole time. He always lets me pick his brain and provides excellent explanations. Every time I go, I walk out of my lesson, I just want to pick my guitar back up and get stuck in. He also understands the reality of modern life and gives good advice on how to make the most out of practice around our busy work and life schedules. I really look forward to my lesson each week so it’s worth it. It keeps me on track with my practice and I’ve improved noticeably.

Louis Stelfox

After 4 months of weekly 30 minute lessons my guitar playing has improved drastically! James is a fantastic teacher who’s really approachable and patient, an expert in his craft. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher! He’s also been really flexible with lesson times which has been helpful for me. The onsite facilities and resources provided are great for me too. Being local to central London, the studios are really easy to find and get to. I’ve found that for the price paid, I get an excellent experience and a lot of attention towards my progress and future development. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for 1-2-1 onsite guitar teaching in London!

A B Music Academy is a nice studio, with good equipment. My band has been rehearsing here for 10 years and I was a former teacher. I highly recommend it! Well done for offering such a good service to the community.

Maryna Danilava

We’ve been using this rehearsal studio regularly with our band, and it’s been a great experience every time. The room is well-equipped, and the sound quality is solid. The owner Florin is friendly and easy to work with, and booking is always smooth. It’s a comfortable space to get creative.  Highly recommend it to any band looking for a reliable place to rehearse!

jahnavi priya

Dharini loves piano class there. And, she is thinking about drums as next instrument. The whole team is kind , patient and warm towards children. I like most about them is that they are flexible with the children’s schedule and holidays.

I have been coming to london sound academy since 2019 and completed both djing and production courses. There are loads of tutors you can pick from depending on your style of learning and preferred genre of music, and the level of teaching is great. More recently i entered one of LSAs dj competitions with my partner which we won, and as part of the prize were able to open up a festival mainstage for some of our favourite artists. It was an incredible opportunity that we are so grateful to LSA for providing. Overall I can’t recommend LSA enough whether you want to learn how to dj from scratch or are further on in your career and want to learn new techniques and get gigs <3

Joel Nugent

London Sound Academy helped me grow and learn as an artist and is full of amazing friendly people. I completed 3 courses (Intermediate and Advanced DJ, as well as Intermediate Production) and each course provided unique insight and support to allow me to channel my creativity in new ways with industry standard equipment.

Alex helped me to learn my way around the Club Standard DJ equipment and taught me the important theory which started my DJ journey.

Kieran was my tutor for the Advanced course and he was super knowledgeable and very approachable and down to earth. He taught me lots of advanced techniques as well as made sure I was comfortable with every aspect of professional DJing and the equipment.

Finally, Paul was my tutor for the FL Studio Production course and he was also super friendly and easy to work with, we shared creative ideas and he taught me the ins and outs of the DAW (which was super helpful since I was migrating from Cubase).

All three are highly recommended, and the facilities are second to none. A big thank you to everyone at LSA for supporting my journey so far!

Carolina FuriĂł

I had an absolutely spectacular experience at this DJ and Music Production academy. The equipment is top-notch, featuring Technics turntables, Pioneer gear, and a high-quality sound system that makes a huge difference when you’re mixing. The setup is perfect for both beginners and experienced DJs.

Antonio’s attention and support were truly next level—super professional yet super friendly. He made sure everything was set up perfectly and was always available to help with any questions.

I’m a DJ and producer from New York, and honestly, having this kind of experience in London was fabulous. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to take their skills to the next level. I’ll definitely be coming back!
